Free tool
Free WhatsApp QR code generator
Print a code on a menu, a business card, a product label or a shop window, and it opens WhatsApp with your message already typed in. No account, no watermark, no limit.
Spaces and dashes are fine — they are removed automatically. Do not include a + sign.
Optional. Leave it blank for an empty chat.
Enter a phone number to generate your code.
Your link will appear here.
How it works
Three steps, no sign-up.
- 1
Enter your business number
Type the WhatsApp number customers should reach, including the country code. Spaces and dashes are removed for you.
- 2
Write the message
Add the text that should already be typed when the chat opens — a greeting, an order request, or a product reference.
- 3
Download and print
Save the code as a PNG for social posts and menus, or as an SVG when you are sending it to a printer.
Where to use it
What a WhatsApp code is actually good for.
Menus and tables
A code on a menu or a table tent opens a chat with the order already phrased. No app to download, nothing to install.
Packaging and labels
A code on a product label opens that product's page, so a customer standing in the aisle can look at sizes, colours and stock.
Business cards and flyers
Point it at your storefront and anyone who scans it lands on a real catalogue they can browse on their own.
Shop windows and stalls
A single code covers your whole range. Change the destination later and the same printed code still works.
Questions
WhatsApp QR code questions.
- How do I make a WhatsApp QR code?
- Enter your business number with its country code, write the message you want pre-filled, and download the code. Scanning it opens WhatsApp with that message already typed, so the customer only has to press send.
- Does the number need a country code?
- Yes. A WhatsApp link only works with the number in international format, which means the country code followed by the local number and no leading zero. Spaces, dashes and a leading + are removed automatically, so you can type it however you like.
- Can I point a QR code at one of my products instead?
- Yes. Switch to the Product or page link tab and paste the address of a product page, your catalogue or your storefront. The same code works anywhere you would print a label.
- Is this tool free and do I need an account?
- It is free and there is nothing to sign up for. No watermark, no limit on how many codes you generate, and no email collected.
- Which format should I download?
- PNG for social media, marketplace listings, menus and anything on a screen. SVG when a printer or a sign-maker will cut it, because it stays sharp at any size.
Want a catalogue behind the code?
A storefront, a checkout and card payments — connected to the chat they already use.
